Dear Member:
The DOW gained about 1% this week and the NASDAQ had a very nice week with a 3% gain.
We were able to close 3 more winning trades this week. First, we exited Honeywell on Tuesday for a 54-cent gain. Second, it was very nice to have the opportunity to get out of Merck on Thursday. And, finally we made a little one-hour or so trade on McDonalds on Thursday as well for a quick 43-cent gain. (We just missed our AMZN trade which would have been another nice quick gain this week.)
The Merck and McDonalds trades bring up a couple issues when you are a newsletter subscriber. First, with respect to the Merck trade, obviously with the way the price was jumping around - between $30.05 and $30.90! -- during the minute we issued our sell at Market - the timing of your action may vary greatly from the price we post on the Trade Table. For 5 minutes after our send MRK ranged from $30.25 to $30.59. For about 20 minutes after our send the price ranged $30.35 and $30.52.
Second, with respect to the McDonalds trade. We realize that the VAST majority of our subscribers did not get into this trade. Only the subscribers that are brokers or wear pager etc. are the types that had a chance to get in at our limit price. Please understand that even if only a small fraction of our members get into a position, we must follow the trade.
Our point in bring these issues up, is simply to say don't worry about these unique situations. Our belief is that the members that have been with us a long-time act SLOWER rather than faster on our informational trade alerts. That is, they get the alert, review the trade and in many, many cases enter and exit the positions at better prices than we post on the Trade Table. That is, they get in a little (or maybe even a lot) lower and exit with more of a profit (maybe even at a lower price than we put in our sell order because of their better entry price). The TRADE-OFF, is that these members miss some of the quick 1-day trades. So, our point (or another point) is, don't worry about whether you got in or out exactly as we state in our alerts. Having to "hit the send" button to get an information alert out acts somewhat as a "handcuff" as to how we act. We try to set prices that are reasonably expectant for all members to get in and out. Thus, having patience and using your own skills may in fact give you better than posted returns.
This service is not intended to be a service that requires you to act instantaneously to get involved in all of the trades. Timely reflection on each alert may give you an extra boost!
Have a great week!
Success Trading Group
P.S. We also entered covered call positions on CSCO and WMT this week. You may read the details by clicking on the Covered Call link on the Trade Table.
Sincerely,
Success Trading Group Team
