[Weekend Summary]
Dear Member:
Not bad. I closed my position in Texas Instruments (TXN) for a 2.5% gain in about 6 days. I entered a position in Crescent R.E. Equity (CEI) and it moved up about 1.7% in the few days since I sent out my buy alert. Denny's (DENN) is up 9.7% since I bought it.
Canadian National (CNI) has been flatlining along a support and I find nothing unusual about that following the recent split.
The quarter ended today and now we will start getting the earnings news. The Nasdaq held fairly strong for the week and was up about 26. The SP-500 was pretty flat (-8.12) but the Dow 30 took a bit of a dive down 170. The drop in the Dow did not break the uptrend, however, and now that the trading coming into the end of the quarter is over, we should get a better picture of what we can expect going forward.
I hope your weekend is most enjoyable. I have the opportunity to play golf at Pebble Beach this weekend so I am pretty excited.
