[Autodesk Inc. (ADSK) Information]
Dear Member:
I received a question whether I was still in Autodesk Inc (ADSK). I am not. As I wrote in my alert on April 25th: "My initial exit would be on a close below yesterday's low around $41.70." The stock closed at $41.47 on May 1st so I was automatically out at the open yesterday ($41.62).
Depending on the trader, there are other exits available such as the 50 day moving average and the longer term uptrend from February that is currently crossing around 38. For me, even though I like the company, that is a long way away so I chose the exit as I set out in my initial alert.
Whenever I include my initial exit in my alerts, that is when I will exit unless I advise that I am moving a stop up.
