[Placing Stop to Sell Ppl Corporation (PPL)/Sell Stop at $30.30]

Dear Member:

I've been in the PPL trade for 17 days and the stock has moved up over 2% and is now knocking at resistance. In order to attempt to preserve profit, I am placing a stop order to sell if the stock drops to $30.30. If hit, that would yield a 68 cent a share profit and a 2.3% gain before commission. Of course, if the stock continues to climb, I'll be moving my stop up behind it.

DISCLOSURE: At the time of publication, I own shares of PPL.

Sincerely,
Bill Kraft
