[Weekend Summary]
Dear Member:
As you have seen, I'm in no rush to get into anything new until the market identifies its' direction. Ppl Corporation (PPL) is scheduled to pay a 27.5 cent a share dividend to holders of record on June 9th. I don't know whether I'll still be holding the stock then or not since it has had a pretty steep run-up and is touching a resistance. As I've said in my alert, I've moved my stop up to $30.50. If sold at that number, it would represent a gain of almost 3% since May 16th.
My brokerage is showing that Waste Management (WMI) went ex-dividend yesterday for holders of record on Monday. According to the site it is scheduled to pay 22 cents a share on June 23rd. At the same time, the stock is up about 1% since entry and it is still in an uptrend with resistance still some distance away.
Nuveen Senior Income (NSL) is also up and has announced its' monthly dividend of .0535 cents a share to holders of record on June 15th. The payment is scheduled for July 3rd.
At least things are going well for my positions as I wait for the market direction to be decided.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for subscribing.
