This week showed a great deal of strength in the major industries. There now appears to be some suggestion of a pause and a retracement would not surprise me.
This week I bought shares of ARK a closed-end fund which is paying an annual dividend of over 8.5% on a monthly basis. I also entered a position in CDC Corporation (CHINA) and a position in Sanmina (SANM). Both SANM and CHINA were up very modestly since my entry.
Common Touch Software (CTCH) continues up the trend line and had quite a decent week.
Denny's was also up 13.5 % for the week and is looking strong. Mindspeed (MSPD) was also up for the week.
The only stock that remains unpleasantly down is Emcore (EMKR). If it doesn't take a jump pretty soon I'll have to unload it at a loss.
