Dear Member:

The markets were backing off on Friday after some very good runs. It could be that it is Friday or it could simply be some profit taking. In any event, a more careful watch is probably required.

Denny's (DENN) is looking good and was up Friday on very strong volume.

Sanmina (SANM) was off a couple of cents for the week but remains in its uptrend and is trading greater than the 50-day moving average.

Blackrock Senior High Income Fund (ARK) was back up this past week and continues paying a dividend monthly at an annual rate of about 9%.

Emcore (EMKR) was up a bit over the week but is basically rolling between $5.50 and $6.

Commontouch Software (CTCH) is holding above both the 50 and 200-day moving averages.

Mindspeed (MSPD) is still moving sideways.

Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) had a dip on Friday but continues to hold above the 50-day moving average. This one definitely bears watching and I do not want it to get into a position of much greater loss than it currently is -- at around 15 cents down.

Have a great weekend!

Bill
