The markets gave off some mixed signals over the past week. Each major index was down slightly but on lighter volume. At the same time, each broke the recent up trend line. However, at the same time, volatilities were flat to declining, which often is a bullish signal. It is a time, again, to wait and see what's going on.
I made a small gain on the Russell 1000 Growth ETF (IWF) and, thankfully, took a quick loss reduced by the dividend, on Thornburg Mortgage (TMA).
Walt Disney (DIS) was up for the week, is still in the up trend, and is in profitable territory for me.
Nuveen Senior Income (NSL) was flat for the week and another dividend will soon be due.
