[Weekend Summary]

Dear Member:

The NASDAQ and S&P 500 were each up modestly for the week while the Dow dropped about 24 points. All the indices retreated on Friday during the shortened trading day, which tells us very little. As my Newsletter article this weekend indicates, it would not be unusual to have a retracement in early December preceding a Santa Claus rally during the latter part of December.

Taiwan semiconductor (TSM) is the current hero. It had another strong upward movement today and it was up nicely for the week overall.

I sold my position in Commontouch Software (CTCH) for a 3.6% gain before commissions.

Omni Energy Services (OMNI)was flat for the week, but so far, so good.

Blackrock Senior High Income Fund (ARK) is above my entry, is yielding amount 8 3/4% per year and is paying that in the form of a monthly dividend.

Danny's(DENN)was up again this week and is continuing to show promise.

Emcore(EMKR)continues to disappoint. It is moving sideways. I should note that Emcore does have options so it is available for covered call writing.

Mindspeed (MSPD) remains in a trading range. I am looking for a breakout on this one.

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the weekend.
