[Weekend Summary] Dear Member: Today was option expiration day which explains the super high volume on the Dow and probably explains the somewhat unexpected market behavior over the last couple of days. Santa has been at work, now let's see where next week takes us. Qwest (Q) was up more than 3% today on a move accompanied by high volume. Mindspeed (MSPD) broke through resistance today and also moved up 3% on strong volume. Healthtronics (HTRN)was up just a hair for the week. Finisar (FNSR) remained above the trend line as did Navios Maritime Holdings (BULK) which I just entered this week. Blackrock Senior Hi Income Fund (ARK) was up a couple of pennies for the week and pays a 4.7 cent a share dividend next week to holders of record on December 12th. Emcore (EMKR) moved sideways for the week continuing its consolidation. Denny's (DENN) is at a critical juncture and I will exit if it does not hol on or show some bullish movement the early part of next week. I hope your holiday preparations have been completed.
