[Weekend Summary]
Dear Member:
As I predicted last week, this week was characterized by low volume and overall was pretty ho-hum. The Dow managed a modest gain for the week while the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ remained flat. As we enter the new year, we will also be entering the earnings season as companies close their books for 2006. The markets should liven up during this period, but the past week has told us little, if anything, about market direction.
Blackrock Senior High Income ARK) is up 2.7% since entry and will be paying another dividend on January 9.
Iamgold (IAG) is up for the week and back to my entry point.
Mindspeed (MSPD) is running along resistance and I am still looking for the breakout.
Navios Maritime Holdings (BULK) is back to where I bought it and still uptrending.
Healthtronics (HTRN) is still in an uptrend.
Emcore (EMKR) is up a dime for the week.
Denny's (DENN)is hanging in there and looks like it may finally make some money.
Hope you have a fantastic 2007. Thanks for subscribing.
