[Weekend Summary]

Dear Member:

As I suggested in the Weekend Summary last week with a downside move and increasing volatility, the markets were looking edgey. This week proved to be very bearish and the end does not appear to be in sight. There is little happiness for the bulls and relative ectasy for the bears. Look out below.

Far from a great week for the cheap stocks, many of which got buried. My positions in S1 Corp (SONE) and Mindspeed felt the heat, but did no worse than a drop to a support level and, so far, have held.

Introgen Therapeutics (INGN) has not done well. As I have mentioned before, I am looking for a home run which is highly dependent upon the final stage cancer treatment that is now underway.

Good bullish candidates in the cheaper stocks are much more difficult to find when the markets are tanking. You can be assured that I will try to be extra cautious and may not find much until the markets begin to reverse the "downslaught."

Have a super weekend.

Bill
