[Entering Position in Blackrock Senior High Income (ARK)]
Dear Member:
Blackrock Senior High Income (ARK)is what is known as a closed end fund. Unlike an open end fund, it has a limited number of shares and trades just like a stock. I last played ARK when I closed a position in February for a very nice gain. I like ARK because of its history of paying dividends on a monthly basis at an annual rate of a little over 9% at current prices. Since it also trades like a stock, there is the additional opportunity to profit on an upward price move.
I am placing an order to buy shares of ARK at a limit of $6.18.
