[Opening Position In JER Investors Trust (JRT)]
Dear Member:
I recently played JER Investors Trust (JRT) for a nice realized profit in the $10 Trader. JRT is a REIT (real estate investment trust) that has little involvement with single family dwellings. At the current price, it has been paying quarterly dividends at an annualized rate of over 17%.
The REIT is now trading above the limit for $10 Trader, and I am placing an order to buy shares at a limit of $10.45. It looks as though it is about time for an announcement of another dividend payment though I have not yet seen such an announcement.
