[Opening Iron Condor on Baidu.com (BIDU)]
Dear Member:
Since October, Baidu.com (BIDU) has been trading in a range between about 290 and 430. I am going to try to take advantage of the stock remaining in the range by opening an iron condor with a Jan expiration for a credit before commission of $2.50 a share. If filled, the risk would be $7.50 a share for a monthly return on risk of 33% if no adjustments are made and the stock price stays between the two short legs (the legs I am selling). The following is the order with all legs to be filled simultaneously at an overall credit limit of $2.50:
Buy to Open Jan 280 puts (BDUMX)
Sell to Open Jan 290 puts (BDUMY)
Sell to Open Jan 430 calls (BPJAF)
Buy to Open Jan 440 calls (BPJAH)
DISCLOSURE; At the time of publication, I have no position in the referenced options or the underlying stock.
Sincerely,
Bill Kraft
