[Instead of a Weekend Summary]
Dear Member:
I want to let you know that I expect to be driving from snow country to a warmer clime tomorrow so I do not expect to send out a Weekend Summary for this shortened week. I am not finding anything too exciting in the cheaper stocks this week and the week between Christmas and New Year's day is particularly difficult because of low volume because so many people (including traders) are taking time off. That also can have the effect of dramatically increasing volatility so even more caution than usual is necessary.
As I write, I see the major indices each turning down from a resistance so we could be looking at a little short term bearishness going into the new year.
